TouchTunes partners with Lucra to bring real-money gaming to bars across America

TouchTunes, an interactive music and entertainment platform for bars, is partnering with Lucra, a provider of gamification services.

The collaboration will allow bar patrons to compete against each other for cash or credits in games like darts, both in-person and remotely, via the TouchTunes mobile app, according to a press release.

“We know many of our members enjoy friendly wagers on bar games,” Ross Honey, CEO of TouchTunes, said in the release. “Partnering with Lucra lets us elevate the experience with more ways to connect and compete.”

The integration will be available through the FunWallet feature in the TouchTunes app, launching later this year. Lucra’s technology will enable users to track scores, win rates, and maintain leaderboards.

“We’re thrilled to add Lucra’s technology,” Dylan Robbins, CEO of Lucra, said in the release. “This partnership will allow millions to create memorable moments together by providing exciting new ways to compete with friends.”

For responsible gaming, Lucra’s software will offer features like setting limits and self-exclusion. Users must be 18 or over to participate. The social gaming features will be available in the TouchTunes app in Q4 2024, coinciding with the FunWallet launch.
