Gemini Sports Analytics, which makes no-code predictive AI models, is partnering with Infinite Athlete to use its data- and video-syncing FusionFeed API for operational efficiency.
Teams that are mutual users of both technology firms will have streamlined data ingestion and analysis, helping fuel its machine learning algorithms and Gemini’s numerous data and tech partners: DataRobot, Snowflake, StatsBomb, SkillCorner, Stats Perform, Genius Sports, Sportradar and more.
Founded by sport scientist Jake Schuster, Gemini is used by clubs in the NFL, NCAA, MLS and other leagues, and it counts nine team owners as investors. Infinite Athlete — initially founded as Tempus Ex Machina before acquiring biomechanical engineering firm Biocore — has its own robust partner network including the NFL, NFLPA, Chelsea, Colorado Athletics, The 33rd Team, Optimum Grading, Dizplai, Slate, StreamLayer, ScorePlay and others.
Infinite Athlete will be honored as one of SBJ’s 10 Most Innovative Sports Tech Companies on March 5 at an awards ceremony in New York City as part of the kickoff to SBJ Tech Week.
