Pngme has been recognized by Inclusive Fintech 50 for driving financial inclusion

We are honored to announce Pngme has been nominated in this year’s Inclusive Fintech 50 cohort.

This competitive initiative, led by an independent judging panel of 22 experts, identifies and promotes 50 early-stage fintechs driving financial inclusion and resilience.

The highly selective process considers startups in advanced or emerging markets that offer a solution among credit, insurance, payments & remittances, savings & personal financial management, or infrastructure. Previous winners include PesaKit, Extramile Africa, Pezesha, and Mosabi.

The 2021 winners were selected from a pool of 377 applicants, representing 77 countries, with sub-Saharan Africa representing 44 percent of all candidates. Fintechs were chosen through a rigorous process that evaluated their inclusivity, innovation, traction, and scale potential.

Inclusive Fintech 50 aims to bring more visibility to startups that are addressing special challenges of underserved customer segments and act as a stabilizing force for low-income households and businesses.

The Pngme team is set to take part in Financial Inclusion Week from 1-4 November this year. Look out for more information on events and panels the Pngme team will be contributing to.

At Pngme, we believe everyone deserves equal access to finance. We are proud to be working with banks, MFBs FinTechs, and credit bureaus who share our vision for financial inclusion.
