Luminoso Recognized On Inc. 5000 List Of Fastest-Growing Private Companies

Luminoso, the company that turns unstructured text data into business-critical insights, announced that it has been named to the annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing companies.

“As businesses across industries look for tools that apply the same rigor to the analysis of their qualitative text data as they are accustomed to with quantitative data sources, the demand for our products has exploded,” said Adam Carte, CEO of Luminoso. “Our team’s sole focus is on giving organizations the tools to spot emerging trends communicated by customers and employees before they’re realized in financial data. Companies looking to spot and address emerging issues before they become a problem have fueled our growth. I couldn’t be prouder of our team’s accomplishments, and look forward to celebrating many more in the years ahead.”

Luminoso launched out of the MIT Media Lab in 2010. During the last three years of business growth that the Inc. 5000 list is based on, Luminoso has launched a suite of AI-powered text analytics applications that offer organizations the fastest way to rigorously analyze unstructured text data – such as customer and employee survey responses, chatbot conversations, and contact center transcripts – natively in 15 languages. Unlike other AI-powered text analytics applications, Luminoso’s don’t require training, coding, libraries, or ontologies to dynamically analyze unstructured text data and quantify emerging concepts. Organizations simply upload their text data, and uncover insights in minutes across any domain, industry, or use case.

Luminoso’s product launches over the last three years have enabled the company to achieve a series of technology and growth milestones, including:

Attracting a global customer base: Luminoso’s text analytics solutions are now used by global companies and the market insights community such as Hilton, Shapiro + Raj, Liberty Global, Supercell, DENSO, athenahealth, Officeworks, and Swiss Post Solutions. “The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”
