Introducing the Paxos Partner Rewards Engine, powering faster, composable stablecoin rewards

The economic model for stablecoins is evolving.

For years, issuers captured all the yield on reserves while business partners saw none of it. That model doesn’t scale adoption. If you want enterprises to build on your assets, the economics have to work for them, not just for you.

Paxos has operated differently from the start. We share economics transparently with the partners who issue and distribute stablecoins on our platform. No other regulated stablecoin platform does this today. The economic model is moving from issuers capturing all the benefits towards distributing rewards to our enterprise partners in order to drive adoption, and we are building the infrastructure to make that work.

Today we are launching the Partner Rewards Engine which makes stablecoin rewards faster, more transparent, and programmable on-chain. We are starting with the first major feature, Daily Rewards, built from direct experience operating Paxos to partner stablecoin rewards at scale. It is designed to serve every stablecoin we issue. Enterprise partners earning rewards on any Paxos-issued stablecoin will be able to claim them daily, not monthly. Accrual is transparent and visible in real time and because rewards are claimed daily, are programmable and integrate with your existing systems via Dashboard, API or directly on-chain. Partners can organize wallets into payout groups, set threshold-based auto-claims and, based on what’s legally allowed in their region, route rewards where  their business needs them.

  • Faster rewards for more efficiency: Businesses use stablecoins in a range of use cases, all of which benefit from daily rewards.
  • Simplified treasury operations: A treasury team managing wallets across multiple subsidiaries can group them by entity, claim in a single transaction and route proceeds to the right account without manual reconciliation.
  • Automated reward management: By bringing rewards on-chain and making them available more quickly, businesses can design more flexible programs that are tailored to their use case.

We built the Partner Rewards Engine because we have seen what it takes to make stablecoin rewards work at scale. We’ve issued stablecoins at scale since 2018 and have seen first-hand the complexity of distributing stablecoin rewards. These new capabilities will help manage the operational complexity of tracking attribution across wallets and chains, calculating payouts based on holding duration and activity and enabling partners to program their own compliant distribution logic.

We launched a closed alpha on March 2 with an initial group of partners on EVM, and we are actively expanding access — Solana support and broader availability are coming soon. We are already working on what comes next: customizable enterprise reward logic that lets partners define their own distribution rules, automated routing and expanded chain support. We will continue to iterate based on what our partners need.
