Integration enables institutional clients of Talos to access IMC’s digital asset liquidity, directly through the Talos platform
IMC, one of the largest market makers across all asset classes in the world, today announced it has joined the Talos Provider Network, enabling Talos’s institutional clients to access IMC’s digital asset liquidity directly through the Talos platform.
Talos provides institutional-grade infrastructure, technology and data supporting the full digital asset trading and portfolio management lifecycle, connecting institutions to multiple digital asset providers through a single interface.
IMC has been a market maker across global markets for over 35 years, providing liquidity in equities, options, ETFs, FX, commodities and digital assets. Operating across 150+ venues worldwide, IMC combines proprietary technology and quantitative research to deliver tight pricing and reliable execution at institutional scale. IMC has been active in digital assets since 2021 and trades across centralised and decentralised crypto markets. Through its integration with Talos, IMC can now provide two-way pricing on 100+ tokens and cross crypto pairs, with seamless access to major fiat currencies also available. This is accessible to Talos clients within their existing workflows, without the complexity of establishing multiple bilateral connections.
“As institutional participation in digital asset markets deepens, having a reliable, technology-driven liquidity partner accessible through a trusted platform is increasingly important. We look forward to supporting Talos’s clients with the same depth and consistency of liquidity we provide across traditional and digital asset markets,” said Alex Casimo, Chief Commercial Officer, IMC Crypto.
For many institutional participants, from global banks seeking to outsource execution infrastructure to smaller funds not yet equipped to manage connectivity across multiple venues, Talos serves as a single access point to the digital asset ecosystem. IMC’s addition to the Provider Network brings one of the world’s most established market makers into that ecosystem, combining deep TradFi heritage with a proven crypto track record to offer Talos’s clients a familiar and reliable counterparty for their digital asset activity.
“IMC’s addition to the Talos Provider Network reflects the continued evolution of institutional digital asset markets,” said Daniel Packham, VP and Head of Provider Network at Talos. “Their experience across traditional markets and significant and growing activity in digital assets contributes to the breadth of liquidity available on the network, supporting our goal of providing institutional clients with diverse and reliable execution options.”
As institutional demand for digital assets continues to grow, the combination of Talos’s connectivity infrastructure and IMC’s proven market-making capabilities, spanning both traditional and digital asset markets, provides clients with a streamlined path to help achieve best execution.
