UAE-based Dubizzle Group has announced the appointment of Mohammad Rafatnejad as commercial director, responsible for its automotive division, Dubizzle Cars, and overseeing operations in neighboring Oman.
Rafatnejad shared in a LinkedIn post that he will specifically be focusing on expanding the value-added services offered to Dubizzle Cars’ customer base.
Rafatnejad was previously with Dubizzle Group between 2020 and 2023 as chief commercial officer (CCO) of its Thailand-based marketplace Kaidee.
He also served as CEO of Thailand-based marketplace Digital Classifieds Group and held roles at several real estate marketplaces, including senior growth director of Turkey-based Emlakjet.com and CEO and founder of Iran based Ihome.ir.
The Dubizzle Group employs over 2,400 workers across 10 countries in the Middle East, North Africa and South-East Asia.
Its five brands include classified, real estate and automotive marketplaces Dubizzle, Bayut, Property Monitor, Drive Arabia and Hatla2ee.
