As artificial intelligence regulations tighten, Boom Supersonic CEO Blake Scholl is openly floating the idea of moving the company’s headquarters, raising the question of whether Greensboro could be in the running.
While there are no talks of moving the company’s headquarters to Greensboro, where Boom plans to build its supersonic passenger jets, local leaders would love to further the conversation.
“North Carolina would love to have us. Texas would love to have us,” Scholl told the Wall Street Journal. “We might leave.”
