- Trade is building agentic trading infrastructure on the blockchain
- Minds Investment Programme commits up to US$10m to early-stage builders
Special Report: Animoca Brands and its affiliates have co-invested US$1 million in Superior.Trade, a protocol layer for agentic trading teams.
The investment is the first under the Minds Investment Programme, which was launched by Animoca Brands (ASX:AB1) on May 5, 2026 and commits up to US$10 million to early-stage teams building products with Minds by Animoca Brands (“Minds”) as a core product layer.
Minds is a persistent AI agent platform that enables users to deploy and direct sovereign, always-on AI agents without running local servers or managing hardware.
Superior.Trade is leveraging the Minds platform to create infrastructure designed to let users define trading parameters and have AI agents assist with strategy development, backtesting and live execution when defined conditions are met.
Preserving user control and transparency
Animoca Brands co-founder and executive chair Yat Siu said the agentic economy would depend on AI agents operating within systems that preserved user control, transparency and security.
“As the first recipient of investment under our up to US$10 million Minds Investment Programme, Superior.Trade demonstrates how persistent, permissioned agents can translate user intent into real on-chain execution,” he said.
“By making complex platforms like Hyperliquid accessible without sacrificing safety, this model of constrained, user-aligned autonomy is what we believe will unlock scalable, real-world adoption of agentic systems.”
Animoca Labs head Mohamed Ezeldin said Superior.Trade stood out by using Minds to automate a challenging process and make it accessible to consumers.
“Our goal is to back the best builders who are already leaning into the agentic future and building with Minds,” he said.
“We are therefore very excited to welcome Superior.Trade as the first recipient of investment under the Minds Investment Programme.”
Agentic trading infrastructure
Superior.Trade has designed its offering to combine automation with user control by allowing users to define parameters and objectives while agents execute within those limits.
The platform uses trade-only agent wallets connected to Hyperliquid, separating execution and custody so Minds can execute trades but cannot withdraw user funds.
Hyperliquid is a specialised decentralised exchange optimised for futures and leveraged trading.
Superior.Trade co-founder and CEO Jason Kwok said the investment would accelerate deployment of the platform’s agentic trading infrastructure.
“Superior.Trade is building the intelligence infrastructure for autonomous capital,” he said.
“Minds by Animoca Brands is highly aligned with this direction: sovereign, always-on agents that remain customizable and under the user’s control.
“This investment marks an important step in accelerating deployment and use of Superior.Trade’s agentic trading infrastructure and bringing autonomous financial intelligence to a broader global market.”
Superior.Trade’s flagship application, Superior Terminal, is designed to help traders and AI agents turn market data, news and social media signals into testable trading strategies.
